Gateway Arch Inc. is pleased to announce that our work was featured in the exhibition “EDVARD MUNCH – Beyond the Scream”, held in Seoul, South Korea. The exhibition took place at the Hangaram Art Museum from May 22 to September 19, 2024, with the support of major sponsors including Korean Air and Shinhan Bank, and attracted a large number of visitors throughout its run.

The exhibition was curated under the supervision of Dr. Dieter Buchhart, a renowned art historian and leading authority on Jean-Michel Basquiat. It highlighted Edvard Munch’s lifelong exploration of diverse artistic techniques and his lasting influence on future generations of artists.

For this occasion, Gateway Arch provided our Pico Magic Puzzle, the world’s smallest-piece jigsaw puzzle. Thanks to its ultra-small pieces, the Pico Magic Puzzle enables high-resolution expression that cannot be achieved with conventional puzzles, creating a unique and innovative art form.

Dr. Buchhart recognized the spirit of innovation that Munch himself embodied and saw in our Pico Magic Puzzle a new medium for artistic expression. This led to the invitation for our work to be included in the exhibition, an opportunity we were honored to accept.

At Gateway Arch, we are committed to supporting artists and creators across eras and geographies, using puzzles as a platform for free imagination and innovative material expression. The Pico Magic Puzzle, with its boundless expressive potential, is also available for purchase through our official online store.
